The Watko Way – Experience

I have always found the best way to learn is from others, and in particular from our customers, based on their needs and the questions they ask.  Working hard to listen and learn helps us better serve our Watko clients.  Experience is a huge plus if it is used to enhance, upgrade, and innovate.  Experience does not mean we say, “We have always done it this way” or “There are only 4 health insurance carriers to consider.”  Experience means taking what we know and looking for ways to improve upon current benefit offerings and administrative processes.  How do we know if we are making a positive impact?  One of our customers once said, “The proof is not in the pudding; the proof is in eating the pudding.”  In other words, perception does not always equal reality, and you don’t always know if the grass is greener on the other side of the fence until you go there.  The real impact is realized when we listen, learn, and perform year after year in order to enhance, upgrade, and innovate.  This process is what we refer to as The Watko Way.
